The Irish Ancestral Research Association , a non-profit organization located in Sudbury, MA, promotes the understanding of Irish genealogy, history, values, and the culture of their Irish and Irish American ancestors. BBDS Design just launched a brand new website for TIARA. The new site is a membership and eCommerce website. We used the WooCommerce Memberships plugin, which is not just another plugin for restricting the site’s content: it’s an easy-to-use, site-wide membership solution that brings the content, shop, and memberships together. It allowed us to create a membership system that’s seamlessly tied to the store.
We also integrate events, conferences, and newsletters functions into the website; all together the website becomes a powerful marketing tool to promote TIARA, which is the goal of this big project. The website is designed to share stories and experiences, and to foster interaction with other genealogy researchers and enhance the growth of members.
