Crystal Roots Energy Medicine is a life coaching website. Our client first built her website using a hosting platform with integrated site builder that also included eCommerce functionality. The problems were: expensive hosting fees, cookie cutter website design typical of website builders, and lack of flexible payment options. In order to lower the cost of running the website, we helped our client to set up hosting on our VPS server, which starts from a very affordable $90/year. We also used WordPress WooCommerce to build the eCommerce system to handle events for our client. WooCommerce offers multiple payment gateways and varied methods of payment, such as check payment, cash on delivery, or even Venmo. This means clients and customers can choose between the convenience of using credit cards via payment gateways or to eliminate transaction fees using the check, COD, or Venmo payment methods. This gives our client flexibility and more options. The project was conceived as a low budget eCommerce site with a short delivery time, and our client is very happy with the results.
